Faintly foggy pale gold with a white head of moderate height leaving wavy lacing on the glass.

Almost as a warning, this was described to me upon ordering as the lightest beer currently on tap, so I was anticipating a little flatness, but found it to actually exhibit a pleasantly balancing, grassy kick to its crispness, even hinting at allium for a second.

Now that I see that it's a kellerbier, I get more excited as I quaff. I then detect a touch of nutty amaretto backing, but without the sweetness. It perhaps gets a touch skunky as it sits, with a hint of aged hop, but pleasantly, contrastingly so.

It's a uniquely enjoyable brew.
