Deep mahogany reddish-brown and fairly foggy under a tall tan foam head.
Not shy to punch you with some charred bittering amidst the sweetening dark cherry accompaniment, the balancing malt and phenol come just shy of gingersnap.
The crisply frothy medium body finishes semi-dry with a touch of crabapple ester, though without any tartness.
Impressive restraint is on show here--it's quite quaffable despite some glancing intensities.
