Apricot juice colored body; semi-cloudy; thick, fluffy, bone white head. Nice, fruity aroma; blood orange and peach. Phenol flavor right off; band aids; some citrus and grapefruit notes; a touch of pine resin. Heavy body; mildly abrasive; boozy dryness.
I'm guessing its the Nelson Sauvin hops that dominate the flavor plus provide some of the fruit-like aroma. There is a certain white wine suggestion floating around, but overall, the blend just seems bitter and biting.
