A classic German Doppelbock. A smooth, strong, dark lager with notes of bread, caramel, and raisin.

Clear brown body; thick, creamy head; sticky, thick rings of foam orbit the glass interior. Nice aroma; malty; mineral-like. Rich malt flavor; caramel; solid yet balanced hop bitterness; herbal notes. Medium-heavy body; smooth, light velvet texture.
This is a very, very good doppelbock and would challenge many German beers. A crowler instantly went home with me.
