The glass arrived in a tulip glass, looking black and opaque; relatively thin yet dense and lasting khaki-colored head; partial sheets of foam inside the glass. The smell exuded dark malt grains and dried dark fruits; figs and raisins. Dark malt sweetness blended with a diluted coffee taste; tobacco; whiskey; phHeavenol and coffee ground bitterness. Heavy body; smooth; definite alcohol heat.
A really nice barrel aged stout, nice and complex.
ABV: 7.6% pouring temperature: 43.9 °F
