Clear, dark amber appearance; fair carbonation yet produces a dense, sudsy head, lasting and presenting sticky, spidery fingers of foam inside the glass and thin yet thick layers of foam ringing the inside, too. Nice nose; green herbal tones with a mild phenol predominance; a waft of low-level caramel sweetness. Mild and balanced caramel sweetness greets the palate; zesty hop flavor and bitterness; notes of fresh sage and thyme with a bit of citrus pith bitterness; white grape. Medium body feel; delicately velvet-like and finishing with a low-key sticky dryness.

Overall, this pale ale delivers an earthy hop experience. The base beer is rich with an earthy sweetness but is not overly sweet or treacly. I can't say Eukenot and Loral hops are among my favorite varietals, but they do okay with this particular beer.
