Pours a lighter color than most porters do - almost looks like coffee. Not much of a head, aroma smells like fresh made coffee. Coffee flavor really dominates the taste and hops and malt take the back seat. I think it would be better if the coffee were dialed back a bit. Mouthfeel is rather thin for a porter.
Despite all of this, it's an enjoyable beer and hides the 7% ABV quite well.
