16 ounce single from Liquor Warehouse in Vernon, BC.
Pours black with a creamy two fingers of dark tan, light brown head with nice lacing.
Aroma of coffee, coffee grounds, roasty chocolate malt, a hint of caramel with some earthy hops and perhaps even a hint of pine.
Roasty, earthy coffee on the palate, some toffee, dark chocolate - leafy hop bitterness that is right on point.
Creamy and velvety smooth medium mouthfeel - lingering rich bittersweetness.
Exceptional.
