Pours a black color with a short lived, minimal tan head. Aroma is mainly roasted malt. Taste is rich, malty, a hint of smokiness - not to sweet and a nice hop hit on the tail end. A bit of dark chocolate lingers on the palate. For the style, the mouthfeel is on the thinner side, but otherwise this is a pretty decent and drinkable stout. You wouldn't regret buying it.
