Poured from 500mL bottle into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 3/1/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a nice effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy foam that leaves a good lace on the glass.
Smell: lightly grainy aroma with a bit of yeastiness. It’s not terrible but it doesn’t have a ton of character.
Taste: a bit sweeter than the aroma, which helps. It’s still rather grainy, but the graininess is balanced a bit by the sweeter malt. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty decent helles, if not exactly my favorite.

500 ml bottle from Edeka in Passau, Germany. Pours a crystal clear lighter gold color with a white head and good retention. Good lacing. Bready malt aroma. Likewise, bready and malty flavor, lightly sweet. Clean and smooth, yet not quite as smooth as the other German Helles lagers I've had. Still very respectable and enjoyable. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness.

Served cool from 500ml bottle into straight Veltins pilsner mug.
L) Mid- to light- golden colour, clear, lots of small bubbles, head is somewhat thin, white and bubbly. I downscore helles that don't have fluffy heads.
S) Not much at all. Vague hint of hallertau hops if you really get your nose in.
T) Very non-descript, distinct metallic edge. No bitterness, no maltiness.
F) No major complaints, carbonation is more or less on style. The shear lack of flavour gives a weird finish.
O) Rubbish, one of the worst German lagers I have had, not disgusting, it just has very little flavour at all.

Deep yellow color, with a strong carbonation, that holds up a white and creamy head.
Malty smell, with hints of hop. Full maltiness, of an hell. Clean.
At the taste, there isn't a strong carbonation. Malty, with againa good hop notes.
Pleasant and clean. Quite hopped for an hell.
Light to average in body.
In the aftertaste, beside the obvious maltiness, it has also a good hop again. Some dryiness. Drinkable.
