Clear brown color with tan head. Aroma has rye bread crust, toasted malts and a bit of caramelized sugar. Taste follows with some brown sugar but without the sweetness, dark bread crust and some earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium minus body with medium plus carbonation. Quite decent dunkel.

Very dark brown appearance, with a beige head, quite compact.
At the nose the caramel dominates. As it warms, some liquorice notes, and roots, and something lightly burnt.
The taste is better, burnt caramel, liquorice, roots.
Notes of burnt caramel in the aftertaste too, with some bitterness. Not long standing.
Average to light in body.
