Collab with Hijinx Brewing.
Pours a ruddy brown color with a half finger of head. The nose is smokey, but it's not as potent as I'm looking for in a smoked ale. The smokiness contrasts well with a sweet maltiness in the flavor profile. This is a nice effort, but neither the smokiness nor the the flavor of the base beer is bold enough to make this one worth repeating.

On tap at the source.
A - Dark brown pour with super-thin lacing.
S - Smokey toasted malt on the nose.
T - Toasted malt base with a hint of smoke and finishes with light/delicate earthy bitterness, some smoke.
M - Medium body with some thinness around the edges.
O - Not a fan of Brown Ales, the smoke works with this one. "Murky Crik" is still the clear winner when compared to this one.
