7/16/25 - (North 5th Brewery) (North Las Vegas, Nevada) Brewer Notes: $8.29 w tax and NV Passport Discount 13 oz draft pour, 5.0% ABV. Collaboration with Juxta Nomad (Brewer) and Dustland (Arts District Music Venue). Wheat Ale Prickly Pear & Pink Pepperercorn.
Appearance: 13 oz draft in a snifter glass pour yields a pink neon base, bright egg white head and thin lacing and cover over most of the base. 4.25
Aroma: Digging the wheat and peppercorn, light pear backing. 3.75
Taste: Consistent with the above, stronger and really nice. Don’t recall a pepper corn beer before, but it’s a great idea, at least via their execution. 4.5
Mouthfeel: Minimal gentle carbonation, drinks light and easy without sacrificing flavor. Nice wheat peppercorn finish. 4.5
Overall: This is an excellent wheat option. Usually go with added flavors, but this was recommended by Ruth, who has been here since open, and before that Tenaya Creek. As always, that’s the Double Truth, Ruth. 4.25
