Classic lager with a distinctive aroma and an excellent, deep flavour, highly recognized by the beer lovers who prefer traditional, manly beer. It works wonders after a long day of work.

L: Very clear gold-amber, 2 finger white head, rocky foam has moderately good retention.
S: Weak nose, zesty hops, whiffs of corn and grainy malt.
T: Malt forward, semi-dry, low bitterness, corn, caramel and toasted malt, herbal and woody hops.
F: Light-medium body, creamy, enough carbonation for some crisp edges, clean finish.
O: A little better than the average Euro Pale, easy drinker.

Gdańsk 26/7 2019. 50 cl can from Amic Market by a Gas Station. Very yellow can with rugged Explorer type looking Ready for adventure.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving behind only a thin, almost transparent patch of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense. Light malty sweetness, light fruitiness with a touch sweet, ripe berries. Discrete Dry hoppy presence.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor has a light sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is thin and lightly bitter. Lingers shortly.
Not too bad for a Polish macro. Reasonably bitter and not too sweet. A bit overcarbonated and thin - but I tasted far worse.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 500mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Żywiec, Poland brewery, and for 2025. Canned July 22/25. With Sundae the cat...

500ml can in Krakov, Poland. Is a pale yellow with fast to go lacy head. Aroma is wet cardboard and floral tones. Taste is pure Euro trash stuff. Scunky, light, watery, mess. Mouth feel is well its there. Not good at all.

500ml can pours a clear yellow color with modest white head that vanishes quickly with only slight lacing. Aroma is relatively stong for a pale lager or even a pilsner: cereal and grains are present, but so is a bit of fruity sweetness. Tastes more sweet than bitter, but hops are present. Body is light and almost watery with a crisp mouthfeel and noticeable carbonation. Not bad for a macro lager

Golden color. White and quickly disappearing head. Aroma of malt, grain, and hay. Malty taste with medium bitterness. It's a mass-market Polish lager. Nothing interesting.

Was cheaper than all the other imports at 2.25 so I thought I'd give it a try.
Supposedly it contains corn syrup and other junk chemical ingredients. I don't know... there's no ingredient list on the can in Canada... and thats on purpose.
Taste wise it was a sweetish crisp beer with a hint of booze. I didn't mind the taste.. but they are owned by Heineken and that's not a great sign. 1.75/5....probably won't ever buy again. There's was a time I was buying these and DAB German beer because they were cheapest "exotic" beers....but not anymore. There are way better beers out there.

One of the cheapest Polish pilsners, and brewed by Zywiec, not expecting much. Contains corn, glucose syrup and hops extract, not a great sign.
Very thin appearance, mega light head. Syrupy kind of mocne malt aroma, not much hops.
The highlight of the flavour is the corn sweetness, which provides just about the only discernible flavour. Mouth feel is mega thin and there is basically no effervescence on the tongue. Totally lifeless, like it was opened 3 days ago. Glucose syrup syrupyness is prominent. Hops extract is very light. Flavour is more like the barley malt extract in weetabix, as opposed to malt or hops.
Zywiec, owned by Heineken, once again produce a beer that is inferior to other commercial Polish brewers. Yet they dominate the majority of Polish bars and clubs who have a licence agreed with them. Obviously they are making lots of profit via having a cheaply produced product. The corn flavour is the only thing that gives it a 1.25 for flavour, instead of 1. And it's me being generous.

Unknown canning date; drank 5/19/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy off-white head; a thick curtain of lace.
Corn & cream notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Corn & cream flavors up front; mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
This was simple, but drinkable.

Horrible taste and weird smell. Can was a month past best before date but this tasted like burnt licorice and smells like a cheap bottle of brandy I was gifted many years ago.

500ml bottle into a pint glass. Dating code hard to understand.
Medium golden yellow body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and covering, a little lacing.
Lightly boozy aroma.
On tasting, has some body to it, a little sweet, abv apparent.
Mouth medium, finish a rather unpleasant alcohol burn.
Overall, the alcohol part of this beer is the strongest, and it's non too pleasant. One and done with this one.

Clear, golden body; excellent carbonation; thick, white head, frothy and sticky; sheets of foam coat the glass. Light malt scent with a suggestion of corn. Light malt taste with an herbal tone to it; moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; warm and sticky on the palate.
This was a beer I found at one of my alternate beer emporiums. I'm always intrigued when finding new imports, and this version of Tatra (there are three) certainly caught my eye. Overall, it seems like a decent lager. It certainly looks fantastic and the taste and smell are very pleasing overall. I can't say whether corn was used or not. Taste-wise, it seems like an all malt grain base. Regardless, a nice find.
Poured at 52 °F; Best before L0258616B0134 (whatever that equates to).
