500 ml can into lager glass, best before 7/24/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an excellent euro pale lager. All around great robustness of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesomely clean and nicely rich pils malt showcase, with nice noble hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering and outstanding style example. One of the best generic imported pale lagers I've had.

Pours a clear pale gold with head that settles and floats on the surface
Smells a bit like stale cheerios, taste is similar but also adds a lemon rind/floral twist.
On the sweeter side. Above average carbonation.

Pours clear gold in color with one inch head. Taste is cereal and grain. Light bodied, sweet, high carbonation. Tasty, clean lager. Will get this one again.

Standard lagery yellow colour! Light foamy head...
Aroma similar to Zywiec with a bit more malt probably.
Less crisp than Zywiec with more of a malty taste, not really a fan! So similar to many other Polish pilsners. Personally I prefer my pilsners more dry and crisp, prefer Zywiec!

Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. I’m with Bierkrug on this one, skunky, musty, bleh! Mostly adjunct grains, weak head, minimal carbonation. Much better Polish lagers to be had.

Bottle 22.01.16. Nice light aroma of grain, malt and yeast. Very bright golden coloured beer, clear. White three fingered head disappears fast. Very watery in taste, only slight touch of grain and malt. Small hopiness and sourness at finish. Actually it’s not bad as i thought - there’s no significant defects, alcohol is not perceptible, only carbonation is too high. It’s just ultra-watery beer.

A big thanks to the instigator of the canned beer revolution, woodychandler. Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sweet, malty. Taste is malts, light sweetness, hints of green apples, a bit on the bland side. Feels light in the mouth and overall, not terrible, but a poor representation of the style.

One of the really cool things about a visit to Chicago is the opportunity to visit one of the area Binny's to scour around for additions to The CANQuest (tm). I prefer their South Loop location, especially given its proximity to Union Station, plus it holds a tap room. They also have a dizzying selection of 500 ml European CANs in shrink-wrapped 4-packs and this came out of one of them.
From the CAN: "It's time for EB."; "Original Polish Recipe"; "Rich and Full Taste"; "Natural Premium Quality Beer"; "Pure Polish Pils".
I CANmnenced an inverted Glug and would up with two fingers of fluffy, bone-white head with moderate retention. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with button brightness. Nose had a slight green apple tang and I know that is indicative of a flaw, but I CANnot remember which one. Mouthfeel was slightly thin, but not outright watery. The taste was not of apples, so that was good. It was, however, very sweet, even for a German Pils. It was adjunct-free, which gave it a clean flavor, but it really allowed the malty sugariness to come forward. Finish gave me a brief tickle of green apples in the back of the throat, so maybe I am not crazy after all. This was kind of a Euro oddball.

Clear gold with two fingers of white head that lasts about five minutesand leaves some spots of lace. Smell is bready malt. Taste is Euro lager style with a bit more malt than expected. Hops do show up for balance.
Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is enough.
Overall a slightly sweeter and fulller bodied than typical. But this is and old can.
date is 4 14 2013.
