Heineken brewed by Zywiec in Poland, using Dutch "A Yeast".
Impressive head from the can. Typical colour. Quite strong hoppy aroma mixed with sweet malt.
Hops really shine through in the flavour. They add a subtle hoppy fizziness on the tongue. I didn't have the Dutch version of Heineken recently, but this is far better than the Heineken sold in Romania, England, Spain and probably lots of other countries. The malt is light and the hops are unique in the way they swirl around the tongue, though overall it's a little thin.
As much as most people want to hate a mass produced lager/pilsner, this version by Zywiec is pretty good. Much better than actual Zywiec, it must be the "A Yeast".
