Rauch Doppelbock brewed with oak and beechwood smoked malts. Deep ruby in color, with layers of rich malt depth from decoction mashing.

Served in a GA branded stemmed pilsner glass at the Homestead Brewery
Pours a clear dark brown with ruby highlights and a finger of dark eggshell head with tight lacing
Nose of malt and melanoidins, just like a bockbier should!
Mouthfeel is medium light to medium with slight carbonated influence.
Taste follows the nose with a nutty, woody essence in the end which I'm assuming is from the smoked malt. Very subtle and adds to the malt complexity of the beer without taking away any drinkability.
Overall a fantastic bockbier that I'm looking very forward to have more of!
