"This Spring Bavarian amber wheat beer, known in Germany as “Bernsteinfarben” or “amber-colored,” has a more pronounced malt character, and richer color. A pronounced yeast character of spice, nutmeg and clove on top of soft wheat malt."
Pours an orange-ish amber with two solid fingers of light tan head into a Golden Age branded weissbier glass. Pretty beer.
Nose of banana and clove.
Mouthfeel is medium with limited carbonation.
Taste follows the nose with the clove being more pronounced than the banana.
Overall a cool variant of a traditional weisenbier.
