Cool warehouse building I industrial area that has a rustic country inn vibe. Lots of slab wood bar and tabletops. Broken L-shaped bar seats 10 with plenty of tables and booths. A dozen beers on tap. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender. I did not try the food.

This place inherited what was the former (R.I.P.) Salem Ale Works location and given that those folks were firefighters, the place was elegantly constructed with a ton of nice-looking wood and accents like axe-handled doors, etc. For Tomorrow We Die has done the place justice and kept all the decor in place, including the fact that the bar shares the room with the brewing equipment and fermentation tanks that are separated by a decorative and open chain link fence for easy viewing and they have added accents of plants as well including one in the middle of the floor that adds a funky vibe. The seating consists of a bar, several booths, a few community tables, several free standing tables, and a couple of single booths that are uniquely furnished. Lighting is good - not too dark and not too light and the place can vary from sparse to packed depending on the night. The beer selection has been good with a good variety and a few guest taps as well, plus this place serves cocktails for those not into beer. Service is good and there are typically a couple of bartenders working so even on packed nights, it doesn't bog down. The food here comes from a separate cart outside that is more-or-less permanent and a mini version of a larger restaurant downtown called the Taproot Lounge & Cafe, which like the cart here, has delicious food. The tacos and spicy bowls I've had here are delicious and they also provide fried chickpeas as snacks that are tasty as well. A fun spot and glad to see them doing well.

Slow on a Saturday night. Good service, tasty appetizers. Parking available. Flights available. Newish construction, shiny wood, variety of high and low tables. Beer was mediocre at best, but good food and vibes were in abundance.
