very cool new spot on the west side of town, this whole area has really boomed in recent years, i think it was a field the last time i was through. a spacious standalone building uniquely designed with lots of windows, an incredible outdoor area for the summer, a huge bar area with tons of seating, a big dining room side, a partially open kitchen, even a lofted area perhaps for private events, sort of a ski lodge feel, more modern than that i guess, very modern montana, cool look and feel, seems like no expense was spared. we posted up at the bar, had awesome service, and a great experience overall. i liked their bulldogger classic ipa and the pils as well, was less impressed with their hazy stuff and cinnamon roll stout, but it seems like they are off to a good start in terms of the beers, everything was fairly clean and refined and professional, if a bit on the safe side for the most part. the food was tasty, homemade pizza hot from the oven was just what we needed after a long day of travel, and the portions were good and prices fair. not life changing pizza, but solid and thoughtful. low key when we were in, but i could see this place really popping off in the summer. a good addition to the fully booming billings beer scene, great to see the growth here. fun stop, ill be back.
