Pours a clear hazelnut brown color with a slightly beige, fluffy head.
Smells of bakers chocolate, whole grain bread, earth and a profound toffee note.
Has a medium carbonation with a headstrong, refreshing taste, featuring a lighter bodied beer.
Tastes of sweet, glazed toffee, which gets tamed by an uprising earth flavor, creating a wood bark quality, together with dried leaves. The leaf aspect produces a nice dryness, complimenting to the earth foundation in this, with toffee playing only a minor role any longer. Has a well balanced finish, in which the dryness sets the tone, soothed by earth and bakers chocolate.
Offers an awesome rusticness with a natural sweetness, while its perfect balance manages a flavor shift from sweet to dry - very tasty, light and refreshing.
