On tap at Bluecoast Seafood Grille and Raw Bar, so I'm bypassing the "brewed by" dilemma. As far as I'm concerned, it's Ocean View Brewing's product. Pours a slightly hazy honey-gold with a brief off-white head. Not much lacing. Initial impression is citrus, mango, and a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish fades to slightly bitter orange. Overall, a quite enjoyable IPA.

Another dilemma presented. The label header says this is from Ocean View Brewing Company. Elsewhere on the label it reads brewed and canned by Thompson Island Brewing for Ocean View Brewing. So, it got listed under the Ocean View Brewing lineup. A pint can emptied nicely into a clear Imperial pint glass, producing very little head. The color is a sandy-amber that's slightly cloudy. There's an earthy hoppiness to the smell, but it's not pronounced. Unfortunately, that follows through to the taste. The flavors, both hops and malt, are weak to the level that prevents further definition. The body is only marginally better than most mass produced commercial lagers. Overall, this is certainly better than that lot, but far from being a tasty AIPA. But, if you want an IPA that's dialed back the hops and goes down lightly, this won't seem bad at all.
