Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 5/7/23.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy tan foam atop. It certainly looks the part.
Smell: light and sweet malt aroma with just a hint of chocolate and a nice nuttiness, like a nice nut brown ale. It's a bit on the light side, but that's part and parcel of the style.
Taste: malty with a bit more richness to the flavor than the aroma. There's some nuttiness, some slightly sweet caramel, some dry biscuit, a light toastiness; a good amount going on for such a low-intensity beer. I dig it!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I really like this beer. It's super refreshing and drinkable; you don't see dark milds every day, and I think there ought to be more out there. This is a great example!
