Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 8/21/22; this version is 10% ABV.
Appearance: murky medium-yellow hue with a finger of frothy eggshell foam atop. It looks dank and delicious.
Smell: herbal, minty hop aroma with a rather sweet malt base. There's a fresh, grassy, vernal character to this; I like it.
Taste: big hop flavors atop big malt sweetness. Hops are like the aroma -- minty and herbal with a fresh "green" quality to them. The sweetness from the malt enhances the juiciness of the whole endeavor -- I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a big creaminess. I don't know if there's lactose involved here, but the smoothness sure feels like it.
Overall: I dig this beer a great deal. It's damn dangerous at 10% ABV, that's for sure.
