Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/5/23.
Appearance: rich, dark brown hue with a thick cap of creamy tan foam atop, leaving a nice lace on the glass. Pretty!
Smell: lightly sweet malt aroma with a smooth roasty, chocolatey character. Not overly complex, but still quite nice.
Taste: creamy and mild with a little bit of a chocolate flavor, although it's not overly sweet. A good, refreshing, oatmeal stout.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a super smooth, satisfying creaminess. Yum.
Overall: a very nice beer; refreshing and flavorful without being overbearing. I could drink a lot of this stout, especially on a nice sunny day like this.
