Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 2/6/24.
Appearance: beautiful amber/pink hue with a finger of light pink foam atop and just a dash of haze. Really pretty!
Smell: quite sweet with an earthy fruitiness and just a little bit of tartness. I don’t think I’d have guessed dragonfruit and hibiscus; it has a kind of unique aroma to it.
Taste: sweet fruitiness with an earthy character; I feel like I can taste the hibiscus more than I could smell it. Finish is lightly tart and the tartness doesn’t really linger. I think I’d prefer less lactose in this beer, but even so, it’s not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer almost has kind of a hibiscus fruit punch thing going on, which is pretty uncommon and I rather like it. Maybe just a skosh less sweet and I could drink this stuff all day.
