Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/21/24.
Appearance: light golden-yellow hue with a dash of haze. There's a strong visible effervescence, and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: somewhat grainy malt that is not too sweet, combined with a nice, almost grassy, noble hop character. Definitely hinting at some serious crispiness.
Taste: a dash more sweetness than in the aroma helps balanced out the graininess. Hops are noble and earthy, with a kind of "bright" grassiness to them -- not in a bad way, quite the contrary. I'm digging it.
Mouthfeel: light body with a good, well-integrated carbonation that makes this beer nicely creamy for the style. (I know it's supposed to be crunchy, but I guess it can be crunchy and creamy at the same time.)
Overall: a super drinkable and refreshing Pilsner. Very good indeed.
