Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 6/9/24.
Appearance: pale, light golden hue with a mild haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: a nice light tropical hop aroma, I'm getting passionfruit and maybe some earthy guava. It's bright, though not really juicy. I like it.
Taste: taste is very much like the aroma, in that there's an earthy tropicality in the flavor and enough sweetness to be balanced, but not juicy. I would file it as "a classic approach to an IPA, but with modern hop varieties".
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: a solid example of the more-or-less classic American IPA formula.
