Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 10/10/24.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a thick haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam that leaves a nice lacing on the glass.
Smell: sweetish malt base with a richly earthy tropical aroma. I feel like passionfruit, papaya, maybe guava are all in the mix; it's rich and juicy, and while it's not precisely "bright", I quite like it.
Taste: sweet indeed, but in an application with this much hop tropicality, it works. Juicy indeed, and even "creamy" in flavor, with similar fruits from the aroma and just a little bit of grassiness toward the end. Very solid beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: yet another great NEIPA from Ladd & Lass. This one's a bit interesting, with the heavy earthiness, but I like it.
