Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 9/24/24.
Appearance: light golden hue with lots of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet, soft malt with a big tropical character from the hops. I'm getting pineapple and passionfruit, along with some earthier undertones. Juicy and enticing!
Taste: flavor is a bit more citrusy than in the aroma; I get some orange and maybe a little grapefruit peel alongside the tropical character from the aroma. It's a bit sweet, but that's expected in the style. Another rock-solid hazy from L&L.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I'm really into this one; I am not sure I would have guessed it was fresh hop, since the earthier tones are pretty low in the mix. Still, a delightful beer.
