Poured from 16oz can into my Natural 20 tulip. Canned 9/18/24.
Appearance: rich orange-amber hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy light-tan foam atop. Looks good!
Smell: malt is a bit toasty with a hint of caramel and a somewhat biscuity character. There’s also a soft yeastiness present. Generally I don’t care for biscuity flavors/aromas, but in this beer it works. I like it.
Taste: a bit sweet with more of that biscuity/toasty/caramelly malt. Like I said, I’m not normally a huge fan of biscuity malt in beers like this, but the level of sweetness balances it out well, and it’s stylistically appropriate.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: a solid version of the style. I like that fact that there’s an element here that’s not normally to my taste, but is made to work in such a way as I like the overall beer. Nice!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
