2023 SIP Magazine Best of the NW Double Gold Winner
Sparkle Lite channels our brewer’s inner Johnny Lawrence and the sensei’s unabashed love for American Light Lager. This beer takes its inspiration from the cold waters of the Rocky Mountains, but then “crafts it up” with our favorite German pilsner malt. A healthy portion of wonderfully delicate whole grain Jasmine rice helps to lighten everything up. Expect a crisp, crusher of a lager.
Hops: Hallertau Mittelfruh
Malts: Extra Pale Premium Pilsner & Jasmine Rice

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/18/25.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a crystal-clear body and a thick head of frothy white foam.
Smell: mildly sweet with that classic almost-sour “rice lager” aroma. Maybe not entirely my favorite, but streets ahead of macro rice lagers for sure.
Taste: same comments as in the aroma: light and crisp but with a note that’s just this side of sour. There’s enough maltiness here to mostly balance that, though, and again way better than your typical rice lager.
Mouthfeel: light body but a good carbonation and a good fizziness.
Overall: now here’s where we talk about drinkability: this stuff goes down just as easy as you please. Light, crispy, refreshing; I could put back a LOT of this stuff on a hot day.
