The good folx at Latitude 46 - A Pacific Northwest Hop Breeding Co. have been hard at work developing some very exciting experimental hop varieties and we are stoked to have the opportunity to take one of them for a spin. Featuring ADHA 808, this hazy pale features loads of citrus, mango, and tropical aromatics balanced by a touch of piney resin.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 1/12/25.
Appearance: light yellow hue with a pretty prominent haze and a thick head of pillowy ivory foam atop.
Smell: the aroma is light and has a nice tropical vibe to it — I am mostly getting pineapple, but there’s maybe a little mango and even a dash of grapefruit in there. As I said, a bit on the light side, but I like it.
Taste: lightly sweet, but the flavor is not quite as subdued as the aroma. It’s got kind of a Dole whip thing going on — you know how a lot of hazies give you an “orange Julius” kinda flavor? This is like that, but with pineapple. Very interesting … I gotta say, it’s not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a super drinkable beer — although I might not give it full marks for intensity, that very lightness makes this thing quite crushable. Another solid pale ale from L&L.
