Utilizing an intricate decoction mash, this crisp and refreshing German-style Pilsner boasts layer upon layer of nuanced complexity. A lightly bready malt character beguiles against a dry, quenching body. And the use of some of our favorite noble hops introduces a refined bitterness, as well as slighty herbal and spicy hop aromatics.
Hops: Hallertau Mittelfrüh & Tettnang

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 2/11/25.
Appearance: light golden hue with a little bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop, leaving a bit of lace as it dissipates.
Smell: sweetish malt with a little graininess, plus a shot of noble hops. Quite good.
Taste: like the aroma, the malt's a little sweet here, but I really like the balance between that, the light graininess, and the quite-prominent noble hops, which add a fresh, green, almost grassy character (in a good way). Really solid German-style pilsner.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a good creaminess for the style.
Overall: in addition to being a faithful and tasty example of the style, it's hella refreshing too! I could down a lot of these on a warm day.
