Thanks to the latest in concetrated hop products and state-of-the-art extraction techniques, Parliament of Owls completely bypasses the fledgling stage and takes flight straight into the stratosphere. This modern West Coast IPA may be saturated with loads of hop goodness, but it still manages to remain dry and supremely crushable. Loads of freshly crushed citrus, tropical pineapple and a touch of sticky weed will leave you hooting for more.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/24/25.
Appearance: pale yellow hue with just a dash of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: rather on the sweet side with a big dose of pine and grapefruit peel. Absolutely a classic WCIPA, though it is a bit on the sweet side.
Taste: a lot like the aroma: sweet, with a bit of pine and some grapefruit peel. There's a little more fruitiness in the flavor than in the aroma, though ... I like that. There's also a robust bitterness, but not too much for the sweetness.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: quite a decent WCIPA. I think I'd prefer it a bit less sweet, but I will say, based on my memories of like 2008 this type of higher-ABV IPA was indeed typically pretty sweet. I think fans of the style will really dig this.
