This dino rips a modern take through the classic amber ale. Timeless caramel malt vibes with notes of toffee and toasted sourdough provide a base upon which hoppy notes of pink citrus and pine have been introduced. Decadent on the nose, but dry on the palate, Date with a Dino brings the best aspects of amber ale to today’s craft beer drinker.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/5/25.
Appearance: pale amber-brown hue with a dash of haze and a finger of frothy light-tan foam atop.
Smell: bready and sweet with a nice dash of toffee and caramel aroma. A bit biscuity, but not too much. Good!
Taste: bready, caramelly, a little grainy, a little biscuity. I find that I'm sensitive to too much "biscuity" flavor, as I call it, which is super common in amber ales. It's here, too, but kept relatively low in the mix, and the bready caramelly flavors make up for it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: amber ale is not my favorite style, so while I probably wouldn't have this again, it's certainly not a bad beer. For the style, it's pretty damn solid.
