Wee Laddie boasts an incredible mélange of nuanced malt character. Toffee, caramel, and dark fruit notes unfold from the glass before finishing dry with a pleasantly balanced hop bitterness.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 11/16/25.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a little bit of haze and a nice head of frothy dark-tan foam atop.
Smell: nicely rich and bready without being too sweet. I like it.
Taste: a nice mix of all the classic flavors of the style: caramelly, toasty, bready, and a little sweet, but without being too biscuity. Bitterness is maybe a little on the high side, but overall it's quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: quite a decent Scottish ale. Not always my style, but this is a good one.
