This West Coast pilsner blends our favorite aspects of a traditional German pils with the boldness of hoppy American beers. A dry, lightly bready malt base sets the stage for a punchy dry hopping with hand-selected Galaxy hops—sourced from the hop maestros at Hollingbery & Son Hops. This Galaxy-forward beer was then hit with a touch of Simcoe, a piney nod to this beer’s northwest origins.
Hops: Galaxy, Cryo Simcoe & Cryo Krush

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 12/28/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a dash of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweetish, grainy malt aroma with a hop profile that’s rather minty and a little grassy. Kind of an oddball, but interesting, and not bad at all.
Taste: a nice mix of sweetness and graininess, just like in the aroma, with earthy, grassy, minty hops with maybe a little tropical note at the end. Bitterness starts off slow but builds. Overall it’s not bad, but it’s not my favorite L&L beer. I think the mintiness and rough-ish bitterness just kinda don’t play super well together.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I want to like this beer more, but especially toward the end of a taste, the graininess and grassy bitterness just don’t quite mesh. Certainly not bad, but not my favorite, either.
