375ml pull-tab can at the Australian Heritage Hotel for an embarrassingly high price (i.e. do not drink at this establishment!).
Paired with an emu and kangaroo pizza.
A competent pale lager and a damned drinkable one, but not a pilsner proper by traditional style standards.
Creamy, soft, coating, smooth. Pilsner malt, pale malt. Floral hop flavour.
I don't get spicy Saaz or any overt Noble hop flavour. Lager yeast gives it clean attenuation without nodding towards overt German or Czech character. I don't suspect multi decoction mash was utilitized.
A fine Euro pale lager, just not a pilsner.
