This bright pale ale bucks the trend of mega quantities of peach and passionfruit. Instead, the Strata and Amarillo aroma hops impart subtle notes that, if in a wine, might be expressed as barnyard. The dry finish results in a crisp, refreshing beer that is perfect for every summer day - not just 11 of them!

This was a gift in January 2025 that was drunk in April that year.
L: Hazy, golden yellow with a thin but fluffy head and a few bubbles winding up the glass.
S: There are some light passionfruit notes with a touch of citrus peel, but not a lot else.
T: The taste follows the nose with passionfruit and citrus peel, finishing with a nice kick of citric bitterness, but also on a thin note. The beer finishes dry, with the bitter sensation lingering at the back and sides of the tongue. 3.75
M: The beer's finish is noticeably a little thin, adding to the overall impression of a thin body. Carbonation is medium to high.
O: This beer has two overriding impressions: a passionfruit and citurs note, and a thin body and finish. This would be nice on a hot day, but would likely lose out to beers with more heft on pretty much any other occasion.
Cheers!
