Had on draft at a local restaurant. Excellent summer beer. Light and flavorful. Quite drinkable. Little citrus and some light malts. Well done

Pours a slightly opaque golden yellow color with a modest head that fades pretty quickly to a foamy ring. Aroma is grain with a bit of orange zest mixed in the background. Taste is really bready with a slight bitterness from the orange peel. The orange is not dominant by any means, but is definitely present. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, it's really quite good and sessionable at 4.5% ABV. This will be refreshing on a hot summer day. Artwork by Hanna Lucy ..

Nothing hits better than a solid local Pilsner, much less a SUMMER brew, which is why I was pretty excited to get home and try this puppy out yesterday afternoon. There’s a reason Tuckerman’s brews are staples in some of NH’s finest and most popular restaurants, and this light yet flavorful pils is no exception. The orange is soft, yet not underspoken by any means. The mouthfeel is as clean as the Ravine itself. Found it difficult to get a clean pour with this one, but in the end, that’s ok. We’ll definitely be taking the rest of these out on the water this weekend for some fun in the sun.

I think Tuckerman should remove the word "Summer" from this label as this would seem to be a Pilsner for any season of the year. Fine example of the style from a brewery that usually produces some fine Ales. Given the quality of the product, I'm hoping they will add this Pils to their year-round production and distribution schedule. If so, I will be a year-round customer.

American take on the Pilsner. Hoppier than a German or Bohemian pils. Cloudy yellow color with nice white head. Lacing down the glass. My wife does not like beer, but she liked this one. Good carbonation. Nice clean feel.
