On tap at the brewery
My first time at Pivotal! Awesome that they’re doing a beer for pride month, and even better that it’s a Hefe. Let’s see what these guys are all about
Pours a shockingly clear pale gold with a finger of white head that slowly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing. Really just looks like a Kristallweizen
Pretty standard stuff in the nose but it’s solid. I’m picking up on aromas of banana, spicy clove, doughy malt, light vanilla, white pepper, and bubblegum
It is similarly standard in taste, but highly banana focused. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting green banana, bready malt, bubblegum, white pepper, and light lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of sweet banana, doughy malt, white pepper, clove, and floral hops
A light body pairs with moderate lively carbonation, resulting in a crisp and smooth beer. Finishes mostly dry with a slight bitterness to clean it up
This one is damn tasty. Not the best Hefe I’ve ever had, but this alone is a reason to come back here

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
