Smoothcone Kinfolk is an ode to the Nelson Sauvin hop, in all its nuanced glory. Nelson is an entirely unique New Zealand hop that lends this hoppy lager its delicate notes of Sauvignon Blanc grape, lychee and fresh lime zest, with background notes of fresh cannabis. This beer pours a clear, pale golden color with a tight white head. The pilsner malt profile, alongside our house Czech lager yeast, creates a pillowy, sweetbread backbone for the New Zealand hop varietals to really shine. Nelson Sauvin was originally cultivated from the Smooth Cone hop varietal, hence Smoothcone Kinfolk was born.
