Crystal clear with a pale gold, nearly straw, color. Small but lasting head which leaves a few smaller blankets of lace.

A touch of graininess with the pilsner malt. I’m not picking up any hop but that might be because the glass was filled to the brim.

Good, higher level of carbonation with a neutral body. The taste goes from malt to hop and then back to malt in the aftertaste. The malty start is without the raw grain I smelled. It’s also very brief with a straight up black pepper bitterness taking over through the swallow. Oddly, this fades more quickly than the lingering pale malt. A nice simple journey.
