Water of the Gods is a Japanese-style rice lager brewed with our friends at Yagi Noodles. We brewed this lager together selecting a simple malt bill of Pilsner malt and flaked rice and one wildcard ingredient Yagi ramen noodles. We used 50 pounds of hand-made wheat ramen-noodles both in the mash and in the boil. We also used a small addition of Alora hops. This lager is crisp and clean, with subtle notes of yuzu, pear and peach. The flavor of the noodles sits in the background, lending flavor depth and aiding in head retention. It's dry, refreshing and thirst quenching.
