Almost Famous Brewing Company

 

Located out near the airport in an an industrial park. Small entrance opens into a large interior space, L shaped bar, brewing equipment behind, tables filling the rest of the space. Small stage was hosting an open mic night. Fast, prompt, friendly service. Flights available, as well as to-go product. IPAs were a little run of the mill at first, but the milkshake IPA and gingerbread amber knocked my socks off.

I went on a rainy day. The place was crowded and there was live music, a single female performer that was quite good but also a little too loud. Service went fairly quickly for the number of people waiting for beer.
Unfortunately the beer was bad. My wife and I left a Stout and a German Pilsner unfinished on the bar and left. In over 170 brewery visits we have only done that once before and that other place got a new brewer and is back on track.

Fairly new brewery in small industrial park a bit north of Hartford. Large spacious taproom with L - shaped bar in center of room with brewhouse behind the bar. Additional communal seating about the remainder of the room and in a parking lot patio. Food truck. A dozen beers on tap, I enjoyed their 2 IPAs very much. Very friendly bartenders.
