I had this beer on-tap in a pub glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium amber-brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy tan foam. Seems legit!
Smell: rich caramel and toffee aroma with just a little sweetness. I like it!
Taste: toasty, caramelly malt with a mild sweetness and moderate bitterness. Not too bad, but not as rich as the aroma.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a reasonably good Irish red, though maybe a skosh too bitter. I like the fact that it’s 4%, though.
