Had Little Black Dress with breakfast in the TV Room at Lily Pad Hopyard, Morgan County, Cumberland Plateau, Tenn., on draft into tumbler.
Pours apparently black but when backlit deep rosy red with clarity at the edges, with 1-finger light-tan head, with good retention, leaving beautiful etched lace down the glass. Initial aroma of chocolate and grassy hops, settling into some mild roast malts. Begins with a little hop bite then nice dry cocoa and mild roast malts, with a little fruit, before a crisp, moderately bitter roast malt finish.
Easy-drinking, light-bodied, balanced and even sophisticated stout.
