As with ancient multi-stone megaliths such as Stonehenge, this Belgian Strong Ale has a mega ton to explore from Belgian malt & amber candy syrup with notes of Bananas Foster, crème brûlée, & caramel all the way to hints of plum and raisin. Aged on honeycomb-toasted American oak soaked in Cognac & single-malt Japaneese whiskey. A touch of orange is a tribute to Loaded Question Brewing and our Monks Vice Belgian Strong collaboration with Tom in Portsmouth (a nod to their "Orange Peel Incident").

From an 16 oz. can dated 11/21/22. Sampled Jan 21, 2023.
The appearance is a light amber-orange color under a modest then fading cream colored head. Moderate clarity.
An array of aromas including caramel malts, apricot, orange, banana, dried fruit, lights spices like clove and coriander, and a low alcohol profile for 10%.
Smooth high-medium mouthfeel.
Overall, the taste is sweet malt forward with those same dried fruit characters and a mild spice aftermath. Slightly warming but not aggressively so. A bit more booze in the taste. Decently done for sure.
