Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy, light yellow straw with a one finger white head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of wheat malt, clove, light banana, a little dried apple. Flavor is wheat malt, clove, apple skin and mild banana; dry wheat finish with light to moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. A solid domestic hefeweizen that is quite true to stye, with the requisite clove, wheat grain and some banana. The latter is a little milder than expected and finishing bitterness is a bit higher than traditional, but the dry, grainy finish is spot on. The mouth feel is excellent. Enjoyable. I've liked everything I've had from this brewery.

The usual cloudy amber appearance for a Hefe with plenty of foam in the goblet. Aroma is spicy but not as intense as some. Lush and sudsy in the mouth. Taste is moderately sweet, again in the usual ballpark, but with a tangy finish. It is pretty mild on the banana taste but it's fruity and moderately spicy with just a little dishwater to mar the adventure. Pleasing aromatics and not overly yeasty tasting, this is quite drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Not dated.
